Springfield XD

The XD9 from Springfield Armory is packed with all the bells and whistles, but still stays affordable for the average weekend shooter.

The ergonomics of the Springfield XD9 offers natural pointability with a compact and contoured polymer grip, creating a firearm that feels more like a natural extension of your arm than an object in your hand. The loaded chamber indicator allows the shooter to quickly verify by sight or by touch that there is a round in the chamber. The Ultra Safety Assurance Trigger System guards against accidental discharge from dropping or bumping by locking the XD's trigger in place until direct, rearward pressure is applied.

If a shooter is in need of furthering the use of the Springfield XD9, a Picatinny rail is literally at the forefront of all firearms in the XD line. Designed for rapid deployment of tactical devices, it readily accepts lights, lasers or other accessories. More importantly, it is a triple-position rail and hence allows the shooter to adjust the tactical equipment according to their hand position.
